There are many factors that go into the decision as to whether you should rent or buy a home. If you’re renting and can’t afford to buy, that’s ok. Sometimes you have to rent. However, if you have cash on hand and have been thinking about buying, the benefits of doing so often outweigh the benefits of renting.
For instance, you can use your interest payments from your mortgage as a tax write-off. The ability to change, upgrade, and live in the home as you see fit is another big one and something you should think about. When you’re a renter, your hands are tied when it comes to improvements you might want to make to a home.
These are just a few things to think about and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to working with you soon!
